Catherine is due to direct her first feature PERISH, co-written with David Newman, with Sarah Sulick producing.
Her short film NADGER is shooting in summer 2010.
She is also developing GREENLAND TIME for Fireparty Ltd, co-written with David Newman and backed by the UK Film Council.
Catherine co-wrote Cristian Nemescu's CALIFORNIA DREAMIN' (endless) - which won the prestigious 'Un Certain Regard' section at Cannes in 2007.
She is also developing GYPPO and TOAD IN THE HOLE for television writing with David Newman.
Catherine developed an original drama series, BRAND NEW ME for Granada TV.
Catherine's radio play on the life of Dodie Smith for Pier Productions/Radio 4 aired in November 2006.
Her first feature film DREAMING OF JOSEPH LEES shot in 1998, produced by Midsummer Films for Fox Searchlight (their first UK feature since THE FULL MONTY) and directed by Eric Styles. The cast includes Rupert Graves, Miriam Margolyes and Samantha Morton.
Her past film projects include THE RESCUE an original horror, MUYBRIDGE for Midsummer Films/Industry Entertainment and WHITE CROSSES (adapted with Eric Styles from the novel Larry Watson) for Midsummer Films.
Previous writing includes LOVE IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD for BBC Wales Television, THE FISH WIFE, THERESA'S FATHER and FROM MARRAKECH - all short stories for radio, and THE CHANGING LIGHT (based on the life of Berthe Morisot) and FIVE SCENES AT DAWN (on Charles Darwin) - both for theatre.
Catherine is also a director. Having made a number of documentaries for the BBC she began shooting shorts, including BLACK DOG from her own script for Midsummer Films and THE BOY WITH THE BLUE EYES produced by Boda for Sgrin Cymru as part of the Screen Gems season.
