 Daniel is currently under commission to BBC Radio 4.
His first radio play, ‘Those Hard to Reach Places’ was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in October 2009. Starring Anne Reid, Geoffrey Whitehead and Janet Dibley, the play was critic’s choice in The Independent, Time Out and The Times.
In 2008 Daniel’s play ‘Cupboard Love’ was performed in a rehearsed reading at Live Theatre as part of their Building Works season, directed by Jeremy Herrin.
Daniel’s earlier plays ‘How Can I Put This?’ and ‘Past Tense’ received rehearsed readings at Soho Theatre.
He was selected to take part in the prestigious Wild Lunch programme at Paines Plough, resulting in a reading of his play ‘Home Before Dark’ at the Young Vic.
His play ‘Extraction’ was chosen for the Old Vic New Voices season of readings, directed by Tessa Walker.
