John has written for the BBC series LIP SERVICE (BBC3), BEING HUMAN (BBC3) and ROBIN HOOOD (BBC1).
John has worked on two original series, THE DEAD BEAT and TEENAGE KICKS, for Hattrick.
His series BLOODSHOT - the unconventional drama of a family business - contract killing - was developed by Granada.
John is already carving a niche creating original and high concept TV - the pinnacle being SIEGE: an ultra high concept returning series under wraps and in development with World Productions.
Soon after leaving Cambridge University John found himself developing and script editing the ITV soap NIGHT AND DAY. He ended up writing 35 episodes and rewriting as many if not more. He remained in demand at United Productions after leaving the company to go freelance, developing a new treatment for PUSH together with a pilot STAND BY ME. He has credits on 15 episodes of the BBC children's show UGetMe for Darrall MacQueen and wrote an episode of POWERS for CBBC.
He has a sideline creating new tag-lines and branding ideas for new projects and products.
John is also a keen Darts enthusiast.
