
Gareth’s sitcom (co-written with Phil Traill), LIFE AND STUFF, was recently picked up by NBC for development.
He is currently creating and directing a webseries, THE FANTASIST, for Pure Grass Films and BBC.
Gareth won the award for Best Director at the 2007 Tremblant Film Festival in Montreal for his debut feature as a writer and director, THE BAKER; a comedy starring Damian Lewis, Kate Ashfield and Michael Gambon, completed post-production early this year and screened at Cannes. The film will be distributed in the UK by 2Entertain.
Initially developed with Stephen Daldry at Working Title Films, THE BAKER was produced by Picture Farm Ltd. and Grandville Pictures.
His directorial debut was an award-winning short film called TEARS OF A CLOWN.
His second short film, NORMAL FOR NORFOLK, premiered at the 2006 Edinburgh Film Festival.
Gareth has written television drama for Carlton Television and the BBC.
He is currently working on a new feature screenplay, FATHER FIGURE, for Picture Farm/UKFC which he will also direct.
He is married to Kate and father of three girls, Malika, Clementine and Tirion and lives in north-west London.
