Ben is a graduate of Sheffield Hallam University, where he gained a BA Honours Degree in Film Studies.
In 2005 he was a runner-up in the BBC’s Last Laugh competition, and he received praise for his work on Jonathan Harvey’s LOVE FOR SALE - a sitcom about a group of male prostitutes living in Cheadle Hulme.
Ben wrote his very first comedy pilot script entitled SEVEN ELEVEN in 2006, which he sent to TalkbackThames, and soon after this he joined the team of writers on MAN STROKE WOMAN for its second series.
Ben has also written for TITTYBANGBANG (Pett Productions), and was an initial writer on DOGFACE (Objective Productions). He is also a regular contributor to RDF Television’s monthly live comedy showcase.
Ben is currently developing new narrative comedy scripts.
