Pat started his career as a copywriter at agencies TBWA London and RKCR where he won many awards.

This led to directing commercials for several leading production companies including Blink and Outsider. Pat was awarded New Director of the year at the Campaign Magazine Craft Awards.

He has also made several short films, two of which (‘Ted was easy to beat up’ and ‘The Golders Green Formation Leaning Team’) were selected for the Saatchi and Saatchi New Directors Showcase.

Pat was winner of the 2003 Kodak/Bafta Short Film Showcase for ‘DIYHard’.

Projects in Development include NORTHERN SOUL written by Moira Buffini, and his own scripts, OVERDUE, a thriller set in the Hebrides of Scotland and LAND OF MILK AND HONEY, a drama about itinerant beekeepers set in the Mid-West.

Pat’s latest project as director is the feature film AWAYDAYS.

Based on the novel by Kevin Sampson (‘Catcher in the Rye’ with Stanley Knives’-The Guardian) it stars Stephen Graham and is set for a November 2008 theatrical release through Optimum Releasing.

Pat lives in North London with his wife and young son.
