John Butler writes and directs for film and television. He wrote and directed the award-winning GEORGE, wrote the award-winning SPACEMEN THREE and directed THE BALLAD OF KID KANTURK from a script by Kevin Barry, all for the Irish Film Board. He and Kevin are currently developing MEMORABILIA, a feature slated for production in 2010.

He's also directing and co-writing the 6x30 minute sketch show YOUR BAD SELF for RTE Television, and has directed award-winning commercials and TV promos along with single documentaries and series. He writes a weekly column for the Irish Times on Saturday and has written for NPR and the San Francisco Chronicle.

John is represented by Emily Hayward
